1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Bought a house. Pretty big, I reckon.

I also attempted a big bang, but my story is TOO much story for it. I think I'm finally ready to go back to it and write Good Phoenix, though. *crosses fingers*

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make them, I just kinda make notes like "you should really get this handled, Dommi." Like for 2k12 it's "you really should go to class more, Dommi," and "you really should get your digestive issues looked at, Dommi."

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Nope.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Poor Al-cat. I still miss you and your warbley meow every single day.

All my travel was within the United States. I did go to Chicago and Madison, Wisconsin, and Lafayette, Indiana, though.

Buying a house, the Muppet movie (which I still need to see), and also buying a house.

The Glee "Rumour Has It/Someone Like You" mash up. I <3 all Santana Lopezes forever.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

Traveling.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Worrying about things beyond my control.

20. How did you spend Christmas?
My parents came over, and we had brandy-spiked eggnog. Then we ate prime rib, mashed potatoes, broccoli and green bean casseroles, and had pumpkin spice cake for dessert. Mom, Dad, and I watched some basketball, and then my parents went back to their hotel for the night because they drove back to Florida the next day.

None. I don't really do them.

The Mad Men soundtrack.

To be a home owner!

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Finishing Phoenix.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
Deplorable. I'm getting my hair done and a mani-pedi for school this week.

Everything.

37. Who did you miss?
Lots of people I need to be better about contacting.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
I really don't know how to answer that, considering all the awesome people I've met this year.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011:
That the only thing standing in my way is me.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
"You don't know what it means to win.
Come down and see me again.
Been down one time, been down two times...
I'm never going back again."

Now I am returning to my black truffle butter and caviar crostini and Prosecco, already in progress. Happy New Year to you all!
